New! EARTH WARRIORS, Deities, Book 4 - a Contemporary Fantasy/Apocalyptic Romance

New!

Earth Warriors
Deities, Book 4
Contemporary Fantasy/Apocalyptic Romance
Word Count: 39.9K

The Series is Complete!

Second Lieutenant Shannon Folgerty, one of the last remaining pilots from her Air Force base, is out looking for survivors in a world that has been destroyed by natural disasters for the last six months. She’s also hoping to find an airstrip where she can fuel up. Having a giant appear from out of nowhere and take down her partner was not what she expected. Neither was landing on an island and finding a resort hotel with actual people living there.

Uryx, demi-god of the earth, and his brothers are being forced to wreak havoc on earth, but they’re doing just enough to keep the upper gods from sending them back to the depths of hell. When two planes he’s not expecting suddenly show up, one of them plows into him because they’re unable to see him—except the second one veers away. Not only that, but it fires on him. And when the pilot ejects, he’s stunned to find it’s a woman. A mortal woman who can see him. Even though she manages to get away, he realizes she could be his One. His brothers have been blessed to find their only loves. Could it be his turn? In order to find out, he first has to get her to stop running away from him.

Once Shannon learns what Uryx and the others are being forced to do and why, and she meets the other demi-gods’ wives, they all know what needs to be done. But how do mortal women take down Greek gods? They’ve been lucky so far in the past with capturing one or two, but what about all those still remaining? Including the king of the gods, Zeus?

Uryx’s woman is a warrior, that’s how. She devises a plan to take on all of Mount Olympus to bring this reign of terror to an end once and for all, but there is more at risk this time than there’s ever been. Because if her plan fails, the demi-gods and every mortal will be forever doomed.

Warning! Contains an earth-shattering event, folding trees, 3 parachutes, a rain of fish, feeling wonderfully grounded, forgetting to turn off the volcano, and one mortal woman realizing that the fate of the world rests on her shoulders.

New! REDEMPTION, a Contemporary SciFi Apocalyptic Romance

New!

REDEMPTION
A Contemporary Sci-Fi Romance
Word Count: 46.7K
$3.99 e

Nurse Ivy Domberg, along with the rest of the world, watched as the Magellan spacecraft launched into space for a top-secret mission to the moon. She would miss her husband while he was gone, but he’d be back before she knew it.

No one expected those two short weeks to turn into years.

The day the spaceship disappeared, Earth was hit with a blinding light, and life hasn’t been the same since. Every female is now sterile, human and creatures alike. Insects, reptiles, fish, and birds are becoming extinct. Same for all animals as none of them are able to reproduce. Meat, eggs, and milk, as well as grain and vegetable crops, are growing scarce. It’s only a matter of time before the world’s population is completely wiped from the face of the Earth, either from starvation, old age, or both.

During this time, Ivy refused to believe her astronaut husband Skeet was dead. But when the Magellan inexplicably returns with its crew somehow alive, is it a coincidence alien ships are spotted on the same day? Were the aliens responsible for their disappearance, as well as the chaos on Earth?

Even as a possible interstellar war looms on the horizon, Ivy’s nurse instincts kick in when she discovers a lone creature lying near a road. A creature not from Earth. A creature who appears to have just given birth. Seeing the infant, Ivy can’t ignore the alien’s plight, no matter the species. Regardless of the devastation they may have brought to the planet, a mother’s love for her baby is universal.

And it just might save the world.

Warning! Contains a jar of eggs, a devastating loss, plant-based meat, paying in cash, fake hot chocolate, and two people whose love and resilience gives them the hope and faith they need to survive.

After driving through the night, Cecily Mars is ready to get settled in her new town when she arrives, but first she needs to crash for a few hours. When she awakens, she decides to grab dinner at the local diner, and is met with rude comments about an obviously pregnant server. She’s curious as to why, and doesn’t feel it’s fair to judge, so she requests that server.  She wasn’t expecting the remarks she heard regarding the sweet waitress, or for the locals to treat her so badly. But even Cecily has to admit, the story they claim the woman's telling about the baby’s father does seem a little…out there.

When Cecily returns the next night for dinner and learns that the pregnant waitress, Eva, has been let go, she feels sorry for the girl and comes up with a possible solution. She offers the woman a job at the store where she is working. Regardless of the rumors flying, Cecily wants to give the mother-to-be a chance.

Still, she wonders how Eva could be so adamant and sound so truthful? No one in town believes her, but Cecily wants to find out more. Eva’s story pulls at her heartstrings, as well as piques her curiosity. Whether it’s true or not, it's evident Eva will need help with the coming birth, and she could also use a friend.

It doesn’t take Eva long to make Cecily a believer.

Illustra is an out-of-this-world tale of love, kindness, compassion, acceptance, and rescue from a doomed planet.

Warning! Contains eating an apple—stem, seeds, core, and all—small town gossip, a harrowing rescue, and the consequences resulting from a simple act of compassion.

FIRE GODS
Deities, Book 3
Contemporary Fantasy/Apocalyptic Romance

Word Count: 36.2K
$2.99 e / $10.00 p

From an underground bomb shelter, Andrea Johns has been watching the apocalypse play out through live feeds from around the world. A tsunami hitting the Rockies, tornadoes in the Andes, lava filling the Grand Canyon, earthquakes in Paris—the world is literally being wiped out one natural disaster at a time. And it’s only a matter of time before every living being is wiped out with it.

Pyre, the demi-god of fire, along with his brothers, are still wreaking havoc on earth per the old gods’ orders, but they have been careful not to kill every living thing. Some humans need to remain alive to worship the gods and bring them back into power, and those humans will need food. Upon clearing out one area in particular, Pyre sees something, or someone, fleeing and decides it’s worth saving. He wasn’t expecting a human, or that she’d be able to see him. Could it be he’d gotten as lucky as his brothers and found his woman?

Andrea is torn. Yes, Pyre saved her, but he’s also responsible for all that is happening. Does she trust him? Can she trust her heart? When the other two women who “belong” to the demi-gods go missing, it’ll take everyone working together to save them.

Several gods are already down for the count, but how many more are left to be conquered before the mortals are truly free? One thing the brothers have finally learned is that together they stand a chance. Especially with their feisty women by their sides. Gods or not, never underestimate the power of a mortal.

Warning! Contains fresh fruit, cookware weaponry, days without bathing, going out on a limb, sharing stories, a crazed harpy goddess bird woman, and one survivor realizing that the object of her anger is a demi-god who has come to love her.

$3.99 e
(FREE on Kindle Unlimited for a limited time!)

With threats of solar flares larger than anything ever recorded looming, everyone on Earth is scrambling to prepare. No one knows how severe the consequences will be. With little to no warning, the massive flares hit, wiping out power grids, frying everything electrical or battery-operated, and burning out most living beings, unless you were lucky enough to be deep underground or inside something that could withstand the unimaginable temperatures.

In the end, the Earth has been left in total, absolute darkness.

Having rekindled their romance after their failed marriage, Gideon doesn’t want to be apart from D’hani, but she lives in another town. The last time he talked to her, he vowed to come looking for her if/when the big one hits. Because he works for Brodwyn Light and Power, he must stick around to help restore power when the flares pass.

Barely escaping death, he leaves to find her, to see if she also managed to survive, but life has been forever changed. Survival is now reduced to scavenging for whatever food and water he can find, and that means only the fittest or smartest will stay alive.

But some survivors have been reduced to savages.

Has humanity completely turned on itself? It seems there are still a few good ones left, though they are very few and far between. If Gideon can find D’hani, they’re going to search for a place where they can spend the rest of their days, however long that may be.

Although it may be the end of the world, their last wish is for them to be together.

Six on Sunday - HIS LAST REQUEST

Six paragraphs from HIS LAST REQUEST
An erotic apocalyptic, sci-fi romance (Christmas theme)

If you had only one more day to live, what would you do?

Corwin knows. And no one and nothing is going to stop him from the telling the woman he has loved silently and from afar how much he cares for her.
****

1.
Corwin stared down at himself. The fresh blue t-shirt he'd donned before coming over here was already soaked with sweat, as were his jeans. Perspiration rolled down his face, and his head felt like it was going to explode. Standing in the meager shadow provided by the porch did little to keep the stifling heat from penetrating all the way to the marrow of his bones, to suck out every last drop of moisture from his body. There was no wind. It was over one hundred twenty degrees Fahrenheit, and climbing. And it was around the middle of December, a week before Christmas.
2.  Holding out the handful of silk flowers, Corwin watched as she glanced down at them. "I came to give you these and wish you a Merry Christmas. And to tell you goodbye."
3. "Because I wanted you to know I care very much about you. I wanted you to know I'm not like those other guys you've dated or been engaged to, like that Dennis creep who gave you more weepy days than happy ones, and couldn't care less that you like ginger tea and PayDay candy bars. I want to prove to you that there is someone who won't treat you like crap just to make themselves look important. I want to show you that you deserve to be loved and cherished. And that person..." He pointed to himself. "...is me."
4. To his surprise, Sadie gave a soft moan and opened her mouth to touch his with the tip of her tongue. Corwin felt his walls of resistance crumbling. And when her hand pressed against his chest, then slowly began to make its way down to the front of his jeans, his whole body began shaking.
5. Silently, she began peeling off her sleeveless blouse. There was a sense of urgency to her movements, and he understood why. She began jerking the top sheet off the bed while he finished undressing and joined her.
6. She took a shaky breath. "Why now, Corwin? Why did I have to find you now? Why was I such an idiot before? We could have had so many days of happiness. We could have been planning on having a future together."

The bouquet he held was silk. Finding actual flowers was nearly impossible, and he wasn't going to waste another minute searching for a florist and spending useless money on the real thing. That is, if there were any florists and flowers left. He was lucky he had purchased these on a whim just prior to hell breaking loose.

He stood in front of the white door and stared at the slim, rectangular doorbell embedded in the wall. There was no knocker. Just a small cut glass window for people to peer through. A quick glance at his watch told him it was already past ten p.m., but the world was as bright as noon. Taking a deep breath, he raised his fist and knocked instead.

After a few seconds of silence, he knocked again. This time a surprised face looked out the window, spotted him, and her eyes widened further. There was the sound of a deadbolt lock sliding back, and the door opened a few inches.

Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Loose hairs were plastered to her face and neck from her own sweat. There was the awkward silence, then she spoke.

"Corwin?"

"Hi, Sadie."

"What are you doing here?"

Holding out the handful of silk flowers, Corwin watched as she glanced down at them. "I came to give you these and wish you a Merry Christmas. And to tell you goodbye."

Hi. My name is Alexis Hembree, and I’m a cop. My partner and I are good at our jobs, except we don’t tend to work what others would call a “normal” beat. For some reason we draw evil to us like flies to sugar.

Sometimes there are things in this world we can’t explain or anticipate. But when they cross that line between their existence and ours, when they show up, we have to deal with them as best we can.

Some cops fight criminals. We fight something that never should have existed.

303 Lexington St.
It was a crack house. Except, in this case, drug dealers went in but they didn’t come out. Not alive, anyway, but in body bags. What’s more, if everyone who went inside ended up being shredded to death, who was doing the killing?

Georgie Porgie
The killer targeted women. Young, old, prostitutes, business women, it didn’t matter. One moment they would be walking down the sidewalk in the middle of town, and the next what was left of their bodies would be found in a nearby alleyway. Devoured. That’s why I had to be the next one to walk the streets. To draw out whoever was doing this. To be his next victim.

The Goodbye
He murdered young girls by crucifying them with ice picks. He was slick, elusive, and heading for our city. My partner and I were damned and determined this murderer would get no further. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep my head on the job. Neither could I ignore the weird-ass dreams I was having about this deviate. This case was becoming more personal, more foreboding, and more dangerous with each passing day. And there was no damn way I could avoid what I dreamed would be the final outcome.

His beliefs and apathy come to a sickening halt when he elects to keep one young woman for himself, and discovers that all his pre-conceived notions about these non-living creatures have been a lie. In fact, the truth about Rothsburg’s Disease may be more horrifying than the flesh-eating creatures it infects.

The Apocalypse.

It didn't come because of man's inhumanity to man. It didn't come from bombs, or plague, or even from aliens descending from outer space. In fact, no one knows what triggered it. And even if they did, there was no way to turn back time.

Only one thing was certain. One evening the sun had grown unexpectedly bigger and hotter, and heat and radiation unlike anything ever experienced washed over the Earth, bathing it in searing rays that devoured over three-quarters of the world's population.

Now the sun is smaller, and it doesn't radiate as much heat as it used to. The world is colder. Food is scarce, and people are fighting to stay alive.

Andrew Michael Tollson, aka "The Silent Wraith", was a man who roamed from settlement to outpost to city, offering his protection from scavengers and renegades. Years ago, right before the sun had exploded, when he had been a boy growing up in a small Texas town, he had felt his first crush for the little tomboy he knew as Jo. Now, as a grown man, he has finally made his way back to his boyhood home to see if Jo is still alive, or if she has been a victim of the Apocalypse. He has to know if the dreams and memories he has harbored were mere fantasies, or if the infatuation he'd felt then has grown into something else, something stronger and more tangible.

JoBeth Wythe was a member of The Triad, three leaders who protected their little settlement, and tried to recall the carefree days before the Apocalypse. All they wanted was the chance at a decent life, with enough food, some shared warmth, and a little hope for the future. She had never forgotten the pudgy little kid who had followed her around when she was growing up, the little boy she called Mikey. Every time she thought of him, it only brought back pain and a wistfulness for a past that no longer existed.

For Drew and Jo, it was only a matter of time before they would be reunited to fight together. To survive together. And to discover that the innocent kisses they had shared as children had grown into a love that would overwhelm them with desire.

Warning! Contains permanent extreme cold, love everlasting, survivalists, separation, a legend in the making, a brutal mass murder, childhood friends to lovers, and the end of the world as we know it.
