Mooney's Music Review - HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

I fell in love with John Powell's work when I heard his score for the movie HANCOCK. I've since been checking out his other movie scores. Although I wasn't too hot about some of them, I was immediately struck by the rich Celtic overtones in HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON.

If you're like me, and you want your music to sweep you off your feet with adventure, excitement, and dreams of derring-do, go buy the album. If you're hesitant and want to sample a track first, I strongly suggest you listen to "This is Berk", "New Tail", "See You Tomorrow" or "Forbidden Friendship".

Oh, and the movie is great, too!
