Erma Bombeck said it best.
The ability I have to write is God given.
The ability I have to write is God given.
My imagine is only because of His will.
Thank you, Lord, for that talent.

My house is a mess. The carpets needs shampooing (why don't menfolk wipe up what they spill?), and the dust on the furniture and window sills is thick enough to weave into a blanket. But I've managed to keep the hygienic stuff clean, like the kitchen sink and the bathrooms.
Can you imagine how sad the world would be without laughter? Everyone should have a good laugh every day.

As of this writing, my sons are 24 and 21. TJ is 6 ft. 3, and Ben is 7 ft. 2. (Yes, that's right. 7 ft. 2 - he has to bend over to enter buildings, but he can also hang things from the ceiling without using a ladder.)It's 20 plus years later. We've had good days, bad days, exuberant days, and days I could have easily put a FOR SALE sign on them. But then I remember when I was pregnant with them. I remember how I felt when I carried them, delivered them, and then loved them as I raised them.
I have a family, and my sons will be my legacy. I have been blessed.
Thank you, Dearest Lord, for allowing me to bring new life into this world, and for showing me the richness of motherhood.
As of today, I'm 54 years old. My father died last year at the age of 79. My mother is in her 70s. My maternal grandmother lived until she was 83. So I still have a lot to look forward to.
Are you ready for this? It's a CUPCAKE, people. Yep, you heard me. A cupcake, representing all the good things about your Thanksgiving dinner. Okay, I'm gonna gush and exclaim, "Isn't it cute?" because it is, dammit! Found here at YumSugar.

A chilly night, a cozy fire in the fireplace. Maybe some soft music. A good book. A cup of something warm to drink. No distractions, and no noisy TV.
Yes, I'm thankful for Day Savings Time Ending, and we "Fall back" to "normal time". I love the quick descent of darkness when dusk rolls around. And I love getting up in the morning with the sun already shining before I leave for work. For some reason, getting up when it's still dark makes me think I need to crawl back into bed. I'm not a morning person, anyway. :)
Another email was sent to me with this quilt square attached. Isn't it beautiful? And it sums up everything WONderfully! :D
I was sent this in the (e)mail. Because a lot of it applies so well to me, I thought I'd pass it along.
