FREE Additional Scene from 4-POINT STAR, an Erotic Sci-Fi Romance

This month, I'm offering up a free additional scene from 4-POINT STAR, an Erotic Sci-Fi Romance!

With their initial two-year mission coming to a close, everyone agrees to sign on again for another stint once their mandatory vacation/down time is over, thus keeping their Gaspiel intact.

All except for Sienna, their Visl. She’s been very quiet these past few days. And when she finally reveals to them the reason why she cannot take on another mission with them, they don’t know whether to be devastated…or elated.

Being called to become part of a Gaspiel is an honor, a chance to serve in the war against the Fol’Minites and to protect the K’Stollians’ world. Four men are required to form the four-point star, each one controlling a different element of their warship—navigation, weapons, engine, and the captain. But the most important element and hardest to find is their fifth, their Visl—their strength.

When Ensign Sienna Pratt finds out she is called to be a Gaspiel, she sees it as an opportunity to learn about a system no one knows anything about, and she agrees. She knows the K’Stollian ships are different. They don’t run on fuel, have no material for weapons, they are completely bio-dispensing organisms. Basically, the ships convert the endorphins released during sex into power to run their systems, and that’s where Sienna would come into play. Not knowing exactly what she’s signing up for, she’s willing to take the risk to help the people and the planet. But when it comes time to fulfill her obligations, can she give herself over?

The crew quickly learns that Sienna is not your average Visl, and she will not take things lying down. She is not merely there to service the men, she's determined to prove her worth. The war has been raging for centuries, but now it’s a battle for the K’Stollians’ existence. Someone is sabotaging them and wants to wipe out their entire species, but who? The Gaspiel know there is strength in numbers, but whom can they trust?

To make matters worse, rule number one is not to let your emotions become involved, but when it comes to the four males who've claimed her body, that quickly proves impossible.

Warning: Contains recharged batteries, two ports of entry, a two-year commitment, lumpy seats, miracle soothing cream,  unexpected food additives, a dead language, a plot to destroy an entire civilization, and a woman battling her heart for the love of four men--one especially.

Six on Sunday - 4-POINT STAR, an Erotic Sci-Fi Romance

Six paragraphs from 4-POINT STAR, an erotic sci-fi romance.

1.  She started, unaware of where her gaze had been until he spoke. She felt the heat rush to her cheeks as she averted her face. There could be no secrets between them. There could be no lies or half-truths separating them. They needed to be open and honest in order to keep their ship—and themselves—in peak physical form. “I was wondering if you would be spending this tour of duty in the buff,” she managed to admit without stammering.

2. There was a jarring sense of weightlessness as the ship went into vertical mode, but she was able to grab her seat again and hoist herself into it. As soon as she settled back on the cushion, Tolo reached over and slapped something on the side of the upper armrests. A set of restraints popped out from underneath the seat and wrapped around her waist. Before she could ask about her upper half, a pair of padded belts looped over her shoulders and dropped down to where they meshed with the one around her middle.

3. Leaning against the wall, she watched in silence. His head was down. His thick mass of black hair hung like a curtain across his face, shielding it from view. She couldn’t tell if his measured movements were automatic, from weariness, because he was deep in thought, or a combination of all three. She was also aware of the fact that he sported one of those inconspicuous uniforms, but the computer, or whatever had created it, hadn’t gotten his dimensions correct. The muscles in his chest and arms looked like they were about to burst through the fabric at any second.

4. “I keep hearing about how long this war has taken. Everything you have tried has failed. For decades, eons, this battle has resulted in nothing but one big fat stalemate. I am beginning to think you do not want this war to end, because when it does, what will happen to you? What will happen to all of you yahoos? You will lose your jobs. You will lose your big, fat, important statures. You do not want this war to end! You do not care one iota about the K’Stollians. You do not give a flying fart about the fact that the planet’s population is decimated to the point where they have to reach out to other planets and other lifeforms to run their warships. Well, what are you going to do when they cannot find any further lifeforms, huh? What are you going to do then?”

5. “No. As in what we could be facing. Our extinction.” She lifted her eyes to find him gazing at her with concern. What the hell. What did she have to lose? “Tolo, in the short time we have come to know each other, I think we have formed a connection. And, for some weird reason, the thought we could be dead in a few days, or I could lose you just…” Her voice hitched in her chest. She tried to make light of it. “Stupid, huh? I mean, we are supposed to keep it professional, right?”

6. “No other Visl in the history of the Gaspiel has been Terran, much less a crewmember from another warship,” the Dagian informed them. “Our Visls are strong and compliant females. They are intelligent. Brave. And giving. But Sienna is special. She is a seasoned warrior. She has experience and training we have never encountered or knew we needed. I had trouble believing her when she first espoused her theories, but over and over she has been proven to be correct. It is only because of her that we were able to contact you. It is only because of Sienna that you are here.”
