No, I will not be at RT this year.

No. In response to a lot of people on the loops asking me the same question, I will not be attending RT this year. Or the Lori Foster get-together. Or RWA.

It's not so much the $$ issue. It's the fact that I can't take off from my teaching job for more than 3 days. If I do, I'd better have a doctor's excuse or else be docked FULL PAY for those days I was gone.

If RT comes back to Houston, or maybe Dallas/Ft. Worth, I could drive it, and then I'd get to see everyone.
