but I detest eating alone. Whenever I'm on the road taking one of my solo vacations, or going to a book signing, inevitably I'll need to stop somewhere to get a bite to eat. And, face it, dashboard dining has its pitfalls.
So I'll choose some place within my budget (I have a fancy for TGIFridays and Cracker Barrel) for a sit-down meal. But once you place your order, then what do you do?
Thank goodness for books! Not only does it quickly pass the time until my meal arrives, but I actually have the chance to relax and de-stress.
