So far I and my family have been blessed with having dodged 3 hurricanes so far this season. But Ike... *sigh* It's a wait and watch game at this point. I was supposed to participate in a book signing at Hastings in San Marcos on Saturday. That's up in the air, too.
Stay tuned.
Wishing you and your family are safe & dry.
ReplyDeleteI am so hoping and praying that there will be no more loss of lives with this hurricane season.

Thank you! We live in a no-flood zone, but that doesn't mean we won't sustain wind damage if worst should come to worst. We stayed for Claudette a few years back, but she was just a Cat. 1.
ReplyDeleteFor a thing that can cause so much damage and destruction, it can sure create an intriguing and beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteI hope you miss Ike as well
ReplyDeleteAs an avid weather watcher (I have a brother in Flordia who ended up staying with us in Ohio for three weeks thanks to a hurricane two years ago), you will be in my thoughts and prayers as I watch Ike.

Thank you. It's still anyone's guess where Ike will go in at this point in time.
ReplyDeleteYou off to go further north or remaining at home. Sounds so scary. Seeing it on TV is probably nothing compared to being there. Take car!
