although we had a real one (that we cut from our back field, now its an artificial one. Until our move I used to trim our holly tree and include the fresh evergreens in the mantel decoration. So it's both.
Real - but very small about 3' because we put it on a table to keep the dog from getting to it. Thanks for this amazing chance. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas 🤗
♀️Well, I’m having both, artificial and real, and in every room!!! It’s because I’ve decided to go BIG or MOVE!!! I’m hosting Christmas Day Dinner this year for my family: the Wiatrek sisters, and their husbands, kids, my daughters, my son-in-laws, and granddaughters! We haven’t had a family Christmas Celebration in many years. We’ve all had some difficult tings to face during the past 2 years. Since I moved to Marble Falls in April, I had a horrible botched move, rain upstairs all summer from a faulty metal roof, which ruined floors, walls and ceilings. And, no, insurance wanted to do just “patch job” on a metal roof, and told me that I didn’t meet my deductible! Hah! The kicker was on October 13th, 2018 when the entire first floor was devastated by 4 feet of Flood waters and 6-10 inches of mud!!! I’ve lost so many special treasures from kindergarten children, Hallmark ornaments, books, teaching materials, furniture, sewing machines, etc... that I feel the devastating waters are my tears flowing down Colorado and Guadalupe River!!! Did I mention that we had damage from Hurricane Harvey, too! ♀️ Nope, once again...no to insurance! I love Christmas and it’s the best thing keeping me going this year!
My tree is artificial. It would be easier if I had a real tree. Then I wouldn't have to put it together and pull out all the branches and make sure there are no big gaps. And then I get to decarat it. Whew!!
NLS and we do faje because less clean up lol
ReplyDeleteArtificial and I’ll never get rid of it because it used to belong o my grandmother.
ReplyDeleteAn artificial tree :)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I won’t show up with my name ah! Ashley M
Okay I think I got it to work now! I have an artificial tree :) sorry about that :)
ReplyDeleteArtificial, so it can be recycled year after year - It's currently 12 years old.....

ReplyDeleteWe have a beautiful artificial tree
ReplyDeleteI prefer artificial trees because you can reuse them, and also because my whole family’s allergic to the real ones! NLS
