The weatherman says 104 with the humidity means a heat index of 113 degree. After 50+ such days like this, words like "sweltering", "sizzling", and "hot" are no longer applicable.
I agree. It's been a long time since I've spent quite so much time indoors.
I'm 'listening' to other people talk about the fall and festivals and think - even 'normal' Texas weather would see us still hot for another month - or more. And the only color I'm seeing is brown.
